Temple University, B.A. International Business & Finance, 2011

 

Darryn Lee is a senior studying International Business and Finance, with a specialization in Spanish and Latin American Studies, at Temple University. Before entering Temple, Darryn graduated from the California Academy of Mathematics and Science (CAMS) with honors.

 

Desiring to pursue a career in Investment Management, he has interned at the value hedge fund WellCap Partners in Los Angeles, along with AIG Investments and BlackRock in New York City. Furthermore, Darryn studied abroad as a Gilman Scholar in Madrid, Spain, and conducted independent research as a CIBER Grant Recipient in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, China, the first Temple undergraduate to do so.

 

Graduating in June of 2011, Darryn will pursue his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, and start full-time at BlackRock in New York City as a Portfolio Analytics Analyst come August. Continuing his involvement with South Central Scholars (SCS), Darryn is serving as a Regional Director for the NYC region, assisting in event planning and mentorship for SCS students in the area.
