Join fellow South Central Scholars alumni, South Central Scholars staff, and conference presenters for an event that only happens once a year! It is very rare that so many of us are in one place at one time, so let?s take advantage and use this opportunity to network! Meet us at Rosso Oro's for drinks, appetizers, and an all-around good time rekindling old friendships or building new ones.

To get to Rosso Oro's, simply cross Figueroa on foot and ask for the South Central Scholars party.

The South Central Scholars Alumni Association is holding its first-ever conference for middle school and high school students!

If you are an Alumni interested in getting involved, please email the Alumni Association Executive Committee by Friday, July 16th to find out how you can participate as a volunteer at the College Access Conference on Saturday, July 31st and Sunday, August 1st at USC!!

The South Central Scholars Alumni Association

The following are recent decisions or annoucements pertaining to the Alumni Association:

- Membership Dues for the Alumni Association were voted at $40.00 per year, due on January 1st of each fiscal year. The purchase of life-time dues will be discussed at a later time.

-Our Executive Committee performs overall leadership and operational management for the Alumni Association. The following six (6) positions make up the Executive Committee: (a) 2 Co-Presidents; (b) 1 Secretary; (c) 1 Treasurer; (d) 1 Outreach Director; and (e) 1 Board Liaison. Although the Executive Committe postions have been filled, the Alumni Association accepts applications for association membership throughout the year! Dues will not be required for AA membership until January 1, 2010. If you are interested in becoming a member, please go to the following link:
