FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION
South Central Scholars is a tax exempt entity under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
Donations to SCS therefore receive the maximum tax benefit allowed by law. SCS pays no tax on investment income.
OVERHEAD AND EXPENSES
The board of South Central Scholars pays for all overhead expenses associated with running the organization, including rent and executive staff. All outside donations directly fund student services, in the form of grants to students, funds for programs like our annual Business Conference, or for the stipends for our student interns/staff.
